Hayley Orantia is an American actress, musician and acrobat. She is best known as Erica Goldberg from the TV comedy program "The Goldbergs". Her definition of herself is an artist first and foremost. According to her, is the very first thing she is passionate about. She started playing with it at age nine. At the age of 12 her music took on a serious nature and she began to train professionally. Following a few attempts at writing songs, she recorded her first album of songs at age 14. The music has never stopped since then. Orrantia is a native American with Hispanic origins. Despite the fact that she only spoke English growing up and had never been to Mexico Orrantia is proud of her Hispanic background. To preserve the heritage she's enrolled in Spanish. Orrantia appeared in The X Factor season 1's auditions during the summer 2011. Orrantia was awarded four "yeses" from the judges at the Seattle live auditions after being selected from her YouTube video submission. The first time she auditioned, she was solo but in "Hollywood week" she was put along with three female vocalists to form a trio during remaining auditions. They were eliminated during the fifth week of the live program.
